Free Ways to Support the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas
LTUA has recently joined three programs (City Market Cares, eScrip, and LTUA Credit Card) that allow LTUA supporters, like yourself, to raise money for LTUA while you shop. The best part is none of these programs cost you anything! Instead, a percentage of the purchases you make will be donated to LTUA by the merchants you visit.
City Market Cares
Do you shop at City Market or have family or friends in Colorado who do? City Market Cares allows you to register your City Market card to support LTUA with your purchases; LTUA will receive a percentage of your expenditures (excluding liquor and tobacco). Registering your card does will not affect the discounts and other loyalty perks that you currently receive from City Market. Purchases can be made at any City Market store in Colorado, whether in Buena Vista, Canon City, Breckenridge, or Grand Junction. To sign up, simply email your City Market card # (the 14 digit number on the back of your card) to info@ltua.org or call 539-7700. Please ask your friends and family to help preserve open space in the Upper Arkansas Valley by signing their City Market cards up to support LTUA!
eScrip
The eScrip program allows LTUA supporters, like yourself, to register your shopper loyalty cards and/or credit/debit cards to donate a percentage of your purchases to LTUA. This action comes at no cost to you! You will still receive all of the benefits from your cards that you already receive and LTUA will receive a percentage of your purchases (paid for by the merchants that you visit). In addition, for those of you who shop online, the eScrip Online Mall allows you to show with over 700 merchants while earning up to 10%, or more, for LTUA, while sometimes receiving discounts for yourself as well!
Registering your grocery club cards and credit/debit cards with eScrip is easy and safe! eScrip will not share your personal information or card number with anyone (including LTUA). To sign up, visit the eScrip website at www.eScrip.com and click the “Sign Up – It’s Free!” link on the right side of the page. On the next page, enter in either the Group Name (Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas) or Group ID (500024428) to find us. Select the Land Trust of the Upper Arkansas link and then follow the registration process. This process takes less than 5 minutes.
After you sign up, participating merchants will donate a percentage of your sale to LTUA when you use one of the cards that you registered at their establishment. Your purchases are tracked online, allowing you to view how much money you raised for LTUA.
LTUA Credit Card
The LTUA Credit Card allows you to earn money for LTUA while you shop! After your first purchase with the LTUA Credit Card, LTUA receives $50. LTUA also receives 2% of your gas and grocery purchases and 1% of all other purchases. The best part is LTUA receives all of this at no cost to you. Allowing you to shop as you normally would, while knowing that your credit card purchases are helping to support land conservation in the Upper Arkansas Valley!
