Common Cents for Conservation

The Common Cents for Conservation program collects voluntary contributions on the sale receipts of participating businesses. Funds collected from the program help support LTUA’s objectives of protecting important natural, agricultural, scenic, and historical lands in Chaffee, Fremont, Lake and neighboring Counties. While Common Cents benefits residents of the Upper Arkansas Valley, it also provides visitors with an easy way to help ensure that the scenic landscapes they come to enjoy will stay the way they are.

Several businesses in Chaffee County collect 1% at the point of sale and mail in their contributions each month.
