Land Trust Volunteer Opportunities

 

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities

LTUA is looking for volunteers to fill the following positions:

  • Land Trust of Colorado

    Membership Coordinator

    • Maintain LTUA's growing membership database

    • Send out membership renewal notices and acknowledgements of new and renewing memberships

    • Work with the LTUA President to communicate with the LTUA Membership via email bulletins

    • Work with the LTUA Membership Committee and contribute your ideas on how to grow the membership

  • Membership Committee Members

    • Help design a three-county “chapter” system of membership for LTUA

    • Recruit and coordinate volunteers and volunteer groups

    • Work with the Membership Coordinator and LTUA Membership Committee

  • Outreach assistant

    • Help LTUA Committees and the Administrator with important mailings, including:

      • Membership drive mailings

      • Regular mailings of the LTUA newsletter

      • Special communications to members

  • Land Steward:

    • Work with the LTUA Lands Committee to maintain monitoring and stewardship of easement lands

    • Visit beautiful conservation lands and get to know landowners

    • Help create and maintain a landowner database

  • Lands Committee Advisor

    • Bring your expertise and/or interest in conserving the Upper Arkansas Valley to LTUA

    • Work with LTUA Lands Committee members to design a Conservation Plan

    • Engage other groups in the Upper Arkansas Valley to take part

  • LTUA Newsletter Designer/Editor

    • Work with LTUA Board members, staff and volunteers to design and edit a thrice-yearly newsletter – this is a fun and rewarding project (and is very important for LTUA's contact with the community)
